An independent appliance repair company, built for California.
Fast California Appliances sends licensed technicians to homes across nine California regions to repair refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, microwaves, ice makers, wine coolers, disposals and the built-in luxury platforms this state is full of. One statewide number, a technician who works the area you live in, and the price in writing before any work.
Not the manufacturer. Not a home warranty plan.
We are not owned by any appliance maker and we are not tied to any of them. That matters in two directions. It means we work on every brand sold in California, from a builder-grade top freezer to a Sub-Zero column, with genuine parts for each. And it means we tell you when the manufacturer's warranty is the better path, because inside the warranty term the maker pays for the repair and we do not pretend otherwise.
We are also not a home warranty plan. There is no claim to file, no portal, no approval to wait for and no deductible. You call, a technician comes out, the price is in writing, and you decide.
What we are is a repair company. Licensed technicians who live in the regions they serve, dispatched from one statewide number, with the common parts for the appliances they see most riding on the truck.
Three steps, no surprises.
You call and tell us the appliance, the symptom and the cross street. We route you to the nearest technician who works that kind of appliance and give you a real time window, often the same day in the metros.
The technician arrives, finds the actual fault rather than the first plausible one, and writes down the full price of the repair before any work begins. You approve it or you do not. The diagnostic fee you paid for the visit counts toward the job when you go ahead.
The repair is done, the appliance is tested before the technician leaves, and the work is backed on both the part and the labor. If something is not right, we come back.
The four things every job includes.
Licensed and insured technicians. Every person we send is licensed to do the work and insured for the home they do it in.
The price in writing first. One flat diagnostic fee gets a technician to the door. The repair is quoted before any work, there is no hourly rate, and a return visit to fit an ordered part is inside the quote, not on top of it.
A warranty on parts and labor. We test the repair before we leave and we back both the part we fitted and the work we did.
Honesty about repair or replace. When a repair does not make financial sense, we say so in writing and we do not sell you the fix.
A different job, assigned differently.
California has more Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, Thermador, Miele, Dacor, Monogram and Fisher and Paykel kitchens than any other state, and a sealed system in a panel-ready column is not the same job as a freestanding refrigerator. Those calls go to technicians who have worked the platform, with the factory service literature open, and each platform has its own page on this site with its own answers.
The mass-market brands, Samsung, LG, GE, Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Bosch, Frigidaire, Electrolux and JennAir, get their own pages too, because they fail in their own ways and their warranties have their own rules.
217 California cities in nine regions.
Every city has its own page with local coverage, the pricing table and the questions people there ask first.
One page per appliance.
Symptoms, causes, what it costs and whether it is worth repairing, for each kind of appliance we service.
